Class Rules

Classroom Management: The classroom behavior management policy is based upon the philosophy that each child has the right to learn in an optimal environment.  In order to achieve this gaol, each child is expected to behave in an appropriate manner according to school and classroom expectations.

The management system consists of a green, yellow and red stop light.  If a child misbehaves their name will be moved to green for a warning. A second incident and the name moves to yellow with a 10 minute loss of free time.  A third incident and the name moves to red with no free time.  A fourth incident and a note is sent home to the parents.

Whole Class Positive Behavior System:  If our whole class is showing excellent behavior and earns a compliment from myself or any other adult we earn a marble for our Marble Jar. When the jar is full we will vote on a treat like popcorn, ice cream, etc. This is great incentive for showcasing good behavior while in specials,
chapel, etc.
